Before your trip to Disney World, drop by your local Dollar Store for some supplies.  Look for fun items like:

  • Princess crowns

  • Fairy Wings (if she prefers Tinkerbell)

  • Stick-on gems

  • Hair embellishments like jewels, extensions, ribbons

  • Nail embellishments

  • Face Glitter (make sure it's safe for faces)

  • Lip Gloss

  • Glitzy Jewelry

  • Fancy bags or packaging

Also bring:

  • Nail polish

  • Emery boards

  • Other manicure and pedicure stuff

  • Princess Slippers

  • Princess gown or fancy dress (last year's or next year's Halloween costume is great!)

Before You Go ...

Make a fancy invitation to "The Queen Mother's Royal Spa." Let her know what treatments you're offering and when her appointment is.
Slip it under her pillow before you go or on the first night of her adventure.

The Night Before Your Visit to the Magic Kingdom ...

Give your girl a manicure and pedicure or - better yet - give each other nail treatments! Make a party of it!

If you do the hair roller thing - do it now and let her sleep on it.

The Morning of Your Visit to the Magic Kingdom...

Let your princess awaken to the sound of the birds twittering in the trees - just like Cinderella!  Now you play dress-up.  A special hair-do, a little glittery make-up and voila - she's ready for her grand entrance!

NOTE: Also bring a change of clothes to the park for your princess.  Even the most enthusiastic royalty can get overheated or tired of dressing up - and long to join her 'common' family.
