The food at Busch Gardens is more like restaurant food than theme park food 0- and that's a good thing!
Crown Colony House Restaurant
This is a lovely colonial-style building. Upstairs there's a full service restaurant that serves light meals like salad and sandwiches, as well as full family-style lunches and dinners.
The food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. There are real vegetables (other than french fries) and the prices are very reasonable.

TIP: Request a window table with a view of the Serengeti Plain (it's worth the wait) or a rail side table outside. Tables are fitted with wildlife-spotting guides so you can enjoy this unique dining experience.
Downstairs is a self-serve restaurant with indoor and outdoor eating areas.
TIP: There is an elevator at the end of the large balcony.
Zambia Smokehouse
This is a true barbeque restaurant. They serve slow-cooked chicken and ribs but my favorite is the beef brisket. You can sit indoors but outside you can dine beneath the Sheikra roller coaster. (I have to admit - this is the closest I got to Sheikra.)
Bengal Bistro
This self-serve restaurant serves veggie-rich wraps, salads and sandwiches. The food is good and fresh and the view is of Jungala.
Orang Cafe
You can watch the Orangutans swing through the sky as you eat dirt (sundaes). They serve light meals and snacks.
Desert Grill
People carve the beef for sandwiches, in front of you. Everything is that fresh. Baby back ribs are a specialty. They also have a great kids menu, pasta choices, salads and sandwiches.
There's live entertainment onstage to amuse you while you dine.
Sultan's Sweets
We like to start here with a hot cup of good coffee (I'm fussy about coffee) and a warm muffin.
They also have homemade candy.
