Like other theme parks, Busch Gardens is divided into areas. You can pick up a map at the entrance. The areas are:
-
Egypt
-
Morocco
-
Bird Gardens
-
Stanleyville
-
Nairobi
-
Timbuktu
-
Congo
-
Serengeti Plain
Each area has lots of rides. They range from very mild to absolutely terrifying! Some of them are listed below. 2 Rides to Help You Get Around 1. The Sky Ride is like a gondola ski lift. It will take you from place to place and give you a great overview of the park.
2.
There's also a train to help navigate the park. 3 Great Water Rides:
1.
Stanley Falls Flume 2. Tidal Wave 3.
Congo River Rapids
5 World-Class Roller Coasters: 1.
Gwazi 2.
Sheikra 3.
Scorpion 4.
Kumba 5. Montu
Wild Surge: is a four story plummet (something like the Tower of Terror.) TIP: It looks a lot higher when your on it - at the top - waiting to plunge!
My
Personal Favorite: Rhino Rally This is a great ride! Like "Kilimanjaro Safaris" in Disney's Animal Kingdom, you ride in a free-moving truck. You'll see lots of wildlife close-up. Then there's a twist. Something really unexpected and fun.
Don't miss this ride!
TIP: Ask if your child can be the navigator. Each truck needs one and the navigator gets to sit upfront and help the driver.

Em's Favorites: Cheetah Chase & Ubanga-Banga Bumper Cars
Cheetah Chase has a lot of jerks and sharp turns. You feel like the car is going to leave the tracks every time you lurch around a corner.
Ubanga-Banga Bumper Cars - There's something fun about racing around the track trying to hit or escape from your friends.
Rides for Small Children: Land of the Dragons This is a special play area for small children. It also has its own theater and scaled down rides.
