While it's true that every little girl is a princess in the Magic Kingdom - I have to admit that I thought my daughter, Emily (at 12) was a little past a trip to the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella's Castle.
So when her Aunt Margie and Uncle Bill booked her in with her cousins, I was amazed by how excited she got. And she loved every moment of the treatment!
Girls get to choose the look they want and the Fairy-Godmothers-in-Training take their jobs very seriously. Em got hair extensions with sparkly Mickeys in them, jewels on her cheek, glittery make-up (artfully applied - not caked on), a crown, manicure and sash. She also got a bag of goodies to take home.
The services and options range from $44.95 - up, up, up.
The higher end includes choice of full costume. In my
opinion - some
of the
costumes
are a little
over the top.
(The "glass
slippers" are
an accident
waiting to
happen.)
But the
"Hair, Make-up
and Nails"
Package at $50
is a once in a
lifetime
opportunity to
be fussed
over, primped
and polished
by a "Fairy
Godmother in
Training."
There are 2
locations:
Downtown
Disney and the
Magic Kingdom.
The Salon in
the Magic
Kingdom is
located on the
main floor of
Cinderella's
Castle.
It's
definitely the
best choice
because once
the makeover
is complete -
a girl needs
someplace to
go! The
Magic Kingdom
is definitely
THE place for
princesses.
Cast Members
throughout the
lands will
refer to Her
Highness as
"Princess" all
day! (Talk
about the
royal
treatment!)
