The
Center
of
Disney
World
is
Marked
in
Epcot
The
circles
on the

highlight
various
inventions
that
changed
the
world.
This
artwork
was
intended
to
mark
the
center
of
Disney's
property,
however,
after
construction
had
begun,
it was
determined
that
the
nesting
ground
of an
endangered
woodpecker
was
being
disturbed.
The
entire
project
was
moved
300
feet
to
preserve
the
bird's
habitat.
That
moved
the
circles
300
feet
from
the
exact
center
of
Disney's
property.

Morocco
Doesn't
Light
Up
If you stay in Epcot to watch Illuminations, look toward the Morocco pavilion. Twice during the fireworks show, the World Showcase pavilions are outlined with strings of lights - all but Morocco. The Moroccan government
requested
that they
not be illuminated due to their great religious significance.
