There are two places to eat in Mexico:
The Cantina de San Angel is a waterfront outdoor café with a view of the World Showcase Lagoon. It faces the pyramid, on the other side of the walkway. They serve icy margueritas and beer as well as Mexican “fast-food.”
Limited outdoor seating is provided. No table service.
TIP: It’s a very popular spot to watch “Illuminations.”
The San Angel Inn Restaurant provides a very interesting atmosphere for dining. Lunch or dinner – it’s perpetual twilight in this plaza behind the bazaar (inside the pavilion).
Candles and a simmering volcano in the background provide table-light that would be romantic if it were more secluded and less crowded.
This popular spot serves regional Mexican dishes including taco soup, enchiladas, and grilled meats with spicy sauces.
Reservations are required.
