11. The Window Shutters in Liberty Square are Crooked
During the Civil War, metal shutters were confiscated to be remolded into ammunition.  Leather wasa used instead and it would stretch in wind and rain, so the shutters sagged.

12. The Gray-Colored Path Signifies the Mighty Mississippi
In Frontierland, most of the pavement is reddish brown but there's an irregularly shaped gray ribbon running through it.  It represents the Mississippi River.

13. Tapping Noise of Telegraph Machine in Train Station
When you enter the train station you'll hear a telegraph machine.  It's  tapping out Walt Disney's speech at Disneyland's 1954 opening - in Morse Code.

14. Pirates Playing Chess
While you're lining up for Pirates of the Carribean, look into the dungeon window. Two skeletons are playing chess. The board displays the dead man's game. (stalemate)

Also - listen closely when you get near the end of the queue. You can hear pirates digging for treasure.

15. Working Glockenspiel
Outside "It's a Small World" there's a crazy clock. It's a working glockenspiel and opens on the quarter hour.

16. The turrents on top of the Haunted Mansion are chess pieces.
You can find them all - rooks, bishops, pawns, etc.

The turrets are chess pieces.

17. Great cut-out for photos.
In the Town Square Exposition Hall, at the back behind the Kodak store, you'll find lots of great photo ops that never have any lines.
