Beetlejuice out for a stroll

Pulling taffy!

Universal Studios:
San Francisco / Amity

As you wander through the arcade here (with real games,) you'll feel like you're really in Amityville at the height of the tourist season. You'll also find these attractions in this part of the park:

JAWS
Take a tour of the Amittyville Bay and you're in for a surprise. The great white shark is back!

Picturesque Amityville

Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue
This is a fun show that features golden oldie songs belted out by Frankenstein, his bride, Wolfman, Dracula and a couple of zombie cheerleaders.

Beetlejuice is the ghoulish host.

Disaster!
This is a terrific new show/attraction. Don't miss it!

You'll be involved in the making of a movie! The special effects are amazing and this adventure is lots of fun!

This lady chooses the cast. Look for her (or someone like her) if you want a role in "Disaster!"

TIP:  The entire audience will participate in the action but a few guests are selected for special roles. If you want to be chosen, stand near the desk and get your hand up fast when the casting director asks for a volunteer to play a role you're eligible for.

TIP: Christopher Walken's "signature" is - he likes to do a little dance in each of his roles. Look for it.

Fear Factor Live
You can be part of an episode of Fear Factor Live. Or you can be part of the audience which is undoubtedly a safer, happier place to be.

Some contestants have to eat disgusting concoctions and bugs. This really turned my stomach and there was no prize at the end of it. Other contestants do physical stunts that include climbing, jumping and the like.

TIP: Want to compete? Go to the Fear Factor theater 75 minutes before the performance. That's where they do the casting.

TIP: Want to be an 'extra' without having to do anything gross? Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the performance and raise your hand enthusiastically when they ask for volunteers.

The San Francisco Candy Factory
This is a real candy shop where they pull taffy and make cool things from hard candy. Take a look as you go by. They have free samples too.
